A warm and welcoming family living in Brasschaat, near Antwerp, is looking for a caring and proactive live-in nanny for a long-term position. They have a 10-month-old daughter and are expecting their second child in March 2027.
The position primarily focuses on childcare, with assistance in household organization (managing children’s laundry and ironing for the family). As a housekeeper and gardener are already employed, no major cleaning is required.
Responsibilities
- Full-time childcare for two children, including newborn care
- Age-appropriate activities, meals, naps, and nursery routines
- Accompaniment to daycare (drop-off and pick-up) if necessary
- Children’s laundry management and ironing for the family
- Lightweight storage and keeping the house tidy
- Occasional trips with the family
From November 2026, the eldest child will attend the nursery from Tuesday to Thursday; the baby will join the nursery from November 2027. The family is open to discussion regarding the organization of these days.
Desired profile
- Professional experience in childcare (more than 5 years preferred)
- Solid experience with babies and young children
- Warm, calm, proactive and dynamic personality
- Sense of organization and a taste for order
- English or French speaking; bilingual candidates are welcome.
- British or EU passport
- Driver’s license preferred
- Flexibility and availability to travel
- Desire for a long-term commitment

Schedules
Approximately 7:00am – 7:00pm, with flexibility according to the family’s needs.
Weekends: Generally free, with occasional flexibility required.
