Maternity Nurse
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and patient Maternity Nurse to support a family in Wandsworth, London, starting mid-June for a 12-week period.
This role involves creating a calm and nurturing environment for their second child, who will be joining their brother, aged 3.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Maternity Nurse in Wandsworth, London:
- Provide care for the newborn ensuring their health and well being
- Assist with feeding, bathing, and general daily routines
- Support the family in establishing a peaceful home environment
- Collaborate closely with the mother, who is heavily involved in the children’s care
- Provide emotional support to the new parents
- Offering advice tailored to the family’s needs
Candidates must be/have:
- Strong experience as a Maternity Nurse working within private households
- First Aid and CPR certification, with recent training
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach, capable of working independently while being adaptable to the family’s needs
- Strong communication skills to engage with the family effectively
- Relevant qualifications and certifications in childcare or maternity nursing
- Flexibility in working hours and ability to commit to the duration of the contract
- Exceptional checkable references
Accommodation
Private double bedroom and own bathroom within the house will be provided.
Hours
24/5 schedule with designated rest periods during the day.
