Part-time Housekeeper
Overview
Our client, based in rural Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-time Housekeeper to maintain a beautiful seven-bedroom family home to the highest standard. The role is working three days a week, between Monday – Friday, and would suit an experienced individual with a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
The family has three young children, two of whom attend school.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Housekeeper in rural Oxfordshire include:
- General cleaning duties, including dusting, cleaning inside windows, and maintaining appliances to a consistently high standard
- Manage laundry and ironing, including changing bed linens
- Wardrobe maintenance
- Organise household supplies such as cleaning products and household items
- Demonstrate initiative by proactively maintaining the home without needing instruction
- Occasionally collect and drop off dry cleaning (minimal)
Candidates must be/have:
- Prior Housekeeping experience in Private Households
- A clean driving licence and own car (as the location is rural)
- Ideally a swimmer, due to the presence of a pool and young children
Hours
Eight hours a day, three days a week – between Monday – Friday.
Ideally, Monday, Wednesday and Friday but the Principals are flexible on the days.
Location
Near Oxford, Oxfordshire.
Salary
£20 per hour.
