Flexible Baby Nanny / Maternity Nurse
Overview
This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for an experienced and flexible Baby Nanny / Maternity Nurse to join a lovely, welcoming family in Primrose Hill, caring for their delightful 6-month-old twins on a flexible, self-employed basis, with two possible patterns the family can accommodate: five days on/off, or 10 consecutive days on per month.
The twins are fully weaned, thriving and settled into a routine under the care of their Norland Maternity Nurse, and have just started baby classes that the parents are keen to continue and build on. The role blends shared care with the current team and confident sole charge, and would suit a Baby Nanny who loves the rhythm and companionship of twin care.
With dates confirmed 2–3 months ahead, this role is designed to fit around a portfolio career, giving an established, in-demand Nanny a wonderful family to return to again and again, while leaving plenty of room to build other work around the confirmed dates.

Job duties
Responsibilities of the Flexible Baby Nanny / Maternity Nurse in Primrose Hill, include:
- Full sole and shared charge care of the 6-month-old twins across 24 hour shifts, including overnight responsibility
- Continuing the twins’ established weaning, sleep and daily routine
- Attending and building on the twins’ baby classes
- All usual nursery duties relating to the babies
- Working collaboratively alongside the family’s Norland Maternity Nurse and wider household team
Candidates must be/have:
- A Maternity Nurse qualification
- Proven experience caring for twins
- Strong, recent experience with babies of a similar age
- A confident, proactive and warm approach to shared and sole charge care
- A confident driver with a valid driving licence
- A genuine animal lover — the family has pets
- Flexible and reliable, with the professionalism to thrive on a self-employed rota basis
Hours
The family’s first, urgent requirement is for cover on 17 – 19th October and 20 – 23rd November 2026.
Flexible basis, with the candidate working approximately 10 days per month. Dates will be confirmed 2 – 3 months in advance.
When on duty, the Nanny works 24 hour shifts, sharing a bedroom (with its own ensuite bathroom) with the twins and taking full responsibility for them overnight.
Location
Primrose Hill, London. Accommodation while on duty is a shared room with the twins, with its own ensuite bathroom.
Salary
Competitive 24-hour rate on offer, on a self-employed basis.
