Educational Rota Nanny
Overview
A private Dubai based family is seeking an experienced, education focused Rota Nanny to care for their two boys, aged six months and three years. The family prioritises early childhood development and wants a nurturing, proactive nanny who can provide structured, age-appropriate learning alongside excellent childcare.
The position is working 3 or 4 weeks on/off, and includes international travel with the family.
Ideally, applicants will already be based in Dubai, with their own existing accommodation (to return to off shift), though flights can be provided for exceptional candidates.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Educational Rota Nanny in Dubai, include:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care tailored to each boy’s age, needs and personality
- Plan and deliver educational activities that support learning through play, creativity and exploration
- Maintain consistent daily routines covering learning, play, outdoor time, meals and naps
- Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary requirements
- Monitor developmental progress and share observations with the parents
- Encourage good manners, confidence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Arrange suitable outings, classes and educational experiences
- Keep the children’s belongings, play areas and learning materials clean, safe and organised
- Travel internationally with the family, maintaining routines and continuity of care across time zones
Candidates must be/have:
- An experienced, professional Nanny with a genuine passion for early years education
- Right to work in the UK (desirable)
- A degree in Childcare, Early Years Education, Early Childhood Development or Education
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning methods
- A native English speaker with excellent spoken and written English
- Calm, organised, warm and patient, with the ability to build trusting relationships with young children
- A strong swimmer, confident supervising children around water
- Flexible and happy to travel internationally
- Comfortable with a 24/7 rotation of 3 or 4 weeks on/off
Accommodation
Provided whilst on shift.
Hours
Full-time rotation (3 or 4 weeks on/off), 24/7 whilst on shift, with flexibility required during travel.
Location
Dubai, UAE + international travel.
Salary
Up to £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
