Housekeeper
Overview
A warm and welcoming family based near Hammersmith is looking for a mature, experienced and child-friendly Housekeeper to support their busy five bedroom, three bathroom household on a long term basis. The family consists of a husband, wife and their 3-year-old son.
This is a live-out role focused on all housekeeping duties within the home, alongside occasional childcare support when required. Childcare will be minimal and ad hoc only.
The family are looking for someone proactive, reliable and organised who can confidently manage the day-to-day upkeep of their home to a high standard.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Housekeeper in Hammersmith, include:
- All housekeeping duties within a five bedroom, three bathroom property
- Daily cleaning, tidying and organisation
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen
- Household organisation and upkeep
- Preparing fresh simple meals
- Grocery shopping and household errands if required
Candidate must be/have:
- Previous private household housekeeping experience
- Mature, professional and discreet
- Child-friendly and comfortable working around young children
- Proactive with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, trustworthy and organised
- A confident family cook
- Flexible with working hours when required
- Strong references
- Someone relatively local to the Hammersmith area preferred
Accommodation
As this is a live-out position, no accommodation is provided.
Hours
25 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 10:00 – 15:00.
Some flexibility with working hours required.
Location
Near Hammersmith, London.
Salary
£30,000+ gross per annum (equivalent to £23+ per hour).
