Housekeeper

Overview

A well-established and recently renovated private home in central London is seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join the household on a long-term basis. The property serves both as a private family residence and a venue for the principal’s highest-level client entertaining, and the standard throughout is exceptional.

The household is a warm, creative and highly aesthetic environment – home to a significant art and design collection – and the principals value both professionalism and a genuinely collaborative team spirit. The Housekeeper role sits within a wider team that includes a House Manager, rota nannies, and freelance chefs, and the successful candidates will work closely with one another and report to the House Manager on a day-to-day basis.

The position includes preparing simple meals for the principals or a visiting guest on occasion; a private chef is used for most meals but basic cooking ability is required.

This is a long-term position offering excellent work-life balance for the right candidate.
