Live-out Housekeeper
Overview
A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Live-out Housekeeper to take care of two beautifully appointed apartments in Longchamp, Paris, a four-bedroom apartment and a five-bedroom apartment, both owned by an international family.
As the principals visit infrequently (always with 24 hours’ notice), this is a role with genuine autonomy, where you’ll take pride in keeping both apartments presented to an exceptionally high standard.
The Housekeeper will report into a House Manager.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Live-out Housekeeper for two properties in Longchamp, Paris include:
- Maintain two properties – one 4 bedroom and one 5-bedroom apartment, to an exceptionally high standard at all times
- Keep everything in perfect order, with the exception of towels and bed linen
- Refresh towels in bathrooms and make beds in preparation for any notified arrival
- Carry out thorough, detail oriented cleaning throughout, with close attention paid to finishes, surfaces, and presentation
- Proactively check the property and report any maintenance issues (e.g. dripping taps, faults, wear) promptly
- Take full ownership of the two apartments upkeep and general presentation between visits
- Maintain a professional, discreet manner; security personnel are present on site, but there is no client contact
Candidates must be/have:
- Previous experience in a UHNW private household/luxury hotel
- Fluent in English and French (essential)
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining the highest standards
- Trustworthy, discreet, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Able to take ownership of the role and manage their own time and priorities effectively
- Reliable and flexible to accommodate arrivals at short (24-hour) notice
Accommodation
Live out; no accommodation provided.
Hours
Seven hours per day, five days per week (35 hours total).
Set hours to be discussed and agreed between the client and the candidate.
Location
Longchamp, Paris, France.
Salary
€3,500 net per month.
