Nanny/Tutor | Two Children
Overview
An experienced, responsible and engaging Native Spanish speaking Nanny/Tutor is required to support two children (B7 and G4) in a private household in Barcelona.
The position focusses on after-school care, educational support through immersive Spanish language exposure and creating a nurturing, structured, and playful environment.
The successful applicant will be energetic, proactive, and able to lead by example whilst making learning fun. Start date: May 2026.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Native Spanish speaking Nanny/Tutor in Barcelona include:
- Daily school pickups at 5.00pm
- Escorting children to extracurricular activities
- Creating fun, engaging, and educational moments throughout the afternoon
- Motivating, guiding, and setting a positive example for both children
- Starting the bedtime routine at 7.00pm
- Reading bedtime and educational books in Spanish
Candidates must be / have:
- A Native Spanish speaker
- Prior experience working in private households
- Already based in Barcelona with own accommodation
- Responsible, active, fun, and able to set a good example
- A confident driver with a valid driving licence
- Experienced with / open to family travel (desirable)
Accommodation
This is a live-out position so no accommodation is provided.
Hours
The family require flexibility, but would likely require:
Option 1: Wednesday – Friday, 5.00pm – 8.30pm with longer days 13.00pm – 8.30pm on Saturday and Sunday (Monday & Tuesday off)
Option 2: Tuesday – Friday, 5.00pm – 8.30pm with a longer day 13.00pm – 8.30pm on a Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)

Salary
Up to €3,000 net per month, depending on experience.
