International Rota Nanny (Norland, Chiltern or Early Years qualified)
Overview
A highly professional family based across Dubai (TBC), India and the UK is seeking an experienced Rota Nanny to care for their two young children, a little boy aged 2.5 years and a baby girl aged 6 months, on both a shared care and sole charge basis.
The successful nanny will work closely alongside a second nanny and two hands on parents, creating a genuinely collaborative and supportive team environment. Both parents are actively involved in family life, and the household runs with warmth, organisation and a shared commitment to the children’s wellbeing.
This is a long-term appointment ideally suited to a dedicated career nanny who is truly passionate about early childhood development and who thrives within a structured, consistent and nurturing framework. The right candidate will take a proactive and meaningful role in shaping the children’s early years, fostering curiosity, independence, empathy and excellent behaviour as they grow.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the International Rota Nanny for two children, include:
- Providing exceptional nursery care to the highest professional standards
- Implementing and maintaining consistent daily routines covering sleep, feeding and transitions
- Designing and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate activities tailored to each child’s developmental stage
- Adapting confidently to each child’s evolving needs as they grow
- Coordinating nursery and school transitions and organising extracurricular activities
- Facilitating social opportunities through supervised playdates and outings
- Preparing healthy, nutritious meals appropriate to each child’s age and dietary requirements
- Overseeing nursery organisation, wardrobe management and general child-related logistics
- Administering medication and liaising with healthcare providers as needed
- Travelling internationally with the family and maintaining continuity of care across locations
Candidates must be/have:
- Norland trained or equivalent Early Years qualification (Degree or above preferred)
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience working in private family households
- Demonstrable rota experience with an UHNW family
- A proven track record caring for multiple children of varying ages simultaneously
- Highly organised, calm under pressure and naturally dependable
- Skilled in establishing and upholding structured daily routines
- Discreet, professional and at ease within a fully staffed household
- A confident swimmer with a genuine enthusiasm for an active, outdoor lifestyle
- Flexible in approach, collaborative in nature and a strong team player
Hours
1 month on/off. 24/7 position, core working hours 07:00 to 20:00.
Overnight support will be required on occasion and agreed collaboratively based on the family’s needs.
Location
Dubai (TBC), India, the UK + international travel.
Salary
A highly competitive remuneration package is on offer, with international flights to and from the UK covered by the family.
