SEN Rota Nanny / Manny

Overview

A busy private family based in Knightsbridge is seeking an experienced, professional and dedicated SEN Rota Nanny / Manny to join their fully staffed household. This is an outstanding opportunity for a specialist nanny to make a meaningful and lasting difference to the life of one child, aged 11, who has diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD.

The role offers a high degree of professional autonomy, extensive international travel and a structured, well-supported working environment within a well-established household team. The child has two younger siblings, each with their own nanny, and the families work collaboratively and cohesively together.

The rota is working 7 days on, 14 days off, enabling an excellent work / life balance.

Responsibilities of the SEN Rota Nanny / Manny include:

  • Providing consistent, high-quality one-to-one care for the child throughout the rota period, including during evenings, weekends and school holidays
  • Promoting the child’s development, wellbeing and emotional regulation through structured, engaging and tailored activities
  • Setting clear, consistent boundaries and supporting positive behaviour in line with the child’s individual needs
  • During school hours: completing administrative tasks, planning age-appropriate and interest-led activities, organising schedules and preparing for upcoming periods of care
  • Creating enriching indoor and outdoor experiences suited to the child’s interests, abilities and developmental goals
  • Collaborating closely with the wider nanny team and household staff, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care
  • Travelling internationally with the family during school holidays and European trips throughout the year
  • Maintaining professional standards and records relevant to the child’s care and progress

Candidate must be/have:

  • Calm, patient and resilient, with the ability to support emotional regulation and manage challenging behaviour with confidence
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confident working independently with a significant level of autonomy, whilst also being a strong and collaborative team player
  • Happy to travel extensively, including internationally
  • Comfortable living within a family home (private accommodation provided) and being around three family dogs
