Children’s Sports Coach / Manny
Overview
Our client seeks a reliable, active, and professional Sports Coach to support a young boy by accompanying him to school, sports, and recreational activities. At the heart of the role is designing and delivering fun, engaging sports activities tailored to the boy’s interests – principally tennis, football, and hockey.
The successful candidate will also provide a reassuring presence, ensure safe transportation and supervision, and be available at short notice when required. A private apartment will be provided.
Job duties
Responsibilities of the Children’s Sports Coach in Uzbekistan include:
- Accompany the child to and from sports, activities, and recreational outings, including hockey, football, tennis, and trampoline centres.
- Create fun and engaging sports activities for the child.
- Potentially escort the child to and from school from September 2027 — this arrangement is to be confirmed (security personnel are not permitted to enter the school building).
- Remain with the child throughout activities as required.
- Be available on an on-call basis and respond promptly when contacted by the family’s nanny.
- Provide a positive, engaging, and dependable presence while maintaining the child’s safety and wellbeing.
- Bring an enthusiastic and energetic approach to every interaction.
Candidates must be/have:
- Experience as a sports coach, either in 1:1 capacity, or as a PE teacher within a private school environment.
- Confident, responsible, and professional manner.
- Sporty, active, and physically fit
- Excellent spoken English.
- An additional language, such as Russian, would be an advantage.
- Flexible and available to work an on-call schedule, including split shifts where required.
